Based in Dallas, Texas, we handcraft each product in small batches to ensure freshness, potency, and integrity. This Shipping Policy outlines everything you need to know about how we get your plant-powered skincare to your doorstep safely and efficiently.

1. Shipping Destinations

We are proud to serve customers across the contiguous United States (the 48 connected states).

We do NOT currently ship to:

  • Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands)
  • P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO military addresses
  • International locations

All orders must be shipped to a valid physical street address. We cannot reroute packages once they’ve left our facility.

2. Order Processing Time

Because we craft our products in small batches with fresh, active botanicals, please allow time for careful preparation:

  • Standard Processing: Orders are typically processed and packed within 1–3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays).
  • High-Volume Periods: During holidays, product launches, or promotional events, processing may take up to 5 business days. We’ll notify you via email if significant delays are expected.
  • Order Cutoff: Orders placed after 12:00 PM Central Time may begin processing the following business day.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and estimated delivery window.

3. Shipping Options & Costs

We offer two shipping methods to suit your needs:

Free Standard Shipping

  • Eligibility: Automatically applied to all U.S. orders with a subtotal of $50 or more (before tax).
  • Carrier: USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground (selected based on destination and package size).
  • Estimated Delivery: 3–7 business days after shipment.
  • Important: Free shipping is a courtesy, not a guaranteed service. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, or regional disruptions. SkinBiome Beauty is not liable for late deliveries under this option.

Expedited Shipping

  • Options: 2-Day or Overnight shipping via UPS (availability shown at checkout).
  • Cost: Calculated based on weight, destination, and speed, displayed during checkout.
  • Processing: Expedited orders placed before 12:00 PM CT on business days typically ship the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends/holidays will ship the next business day.
  • Note: Even with expedited shipping, delivery timeframes are not guaranteed by SkinBiome Beauty and are subject to carrier performance. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs (if applicable in the future), or incorrect addresses.

4. Order Tracking

  • You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your package leaves our Dallas studio.
  • If you don’t see it within 2–3 business days of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder.
  • Track your package in real time using the link provided or by visiting the carrier’s website (USPS.com or UPS.com).
  • Pro Tip: Sign up for carrier alerts (e.g., UPS My Choice, USPS Informed Delivery) to receive delivery notifications directly from the shipper.

5. Shipping to Gift Addresses

Planning a gift? We’ve got you covered:

  • At checkout, simply enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address.
  • We do not include printed invoices with prices in gift packages, only a packing slip listing items.
  • Add a personalized note at checkout (if available) or email us with your request.

6. Address Accuracy & Changes

  • Double-check your shipping address before submitting your order.
  • We cannot redirect, intercept, or change the address of a package once it has shipped.
  • If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address, and the package is returned to us, you will be responsible for reshipment fees (if we agree to reship).
  • Packages marked “Undeliverable” due to address errors will be held for 14 days before being discarded or refunded (minus original shipping costs).

7. Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

We take delivery seriously, but once a package is in the carrier’s hands, some things are beyond our control. Here’s how we handle issues:

Package Shows “Delivered” But You Haven’t Received It

  • Contact us within 15 days of the delivery date.
  • Check with neighbors, building managers, or secure delivery areas (e.g., porch, mailbox).
  • We will open a missing package investigation with USPS or UPS, which may take up to 5 business days.
  • No replacements or refunds will be issued until the carrier officially confirms the package as lost.

Package Is Delayed or “Stuck in Transit”

  • If tracking hasn’t updated in 5+ business days, contact us immediately.
  • We’ll initiate a carrier trace to locate your package.
  • Again, resolution depends on the carrier’s findings.

Package Is Stolen After Delivery

  • Unfortunately, we are not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery.
  • We recommend using a secure delivery location (e.g., porch cam, Amazon Locker, or carrier hold request).

8. Shipping During Extreme Weather

In rare cases of extreme heat or cold, we may temporarily delay shipping to protect the integrity of our plant-based formulas (e.g., oils may melt in summer; creams may separate in freezing temps). If this affects your order, we’ll notify you via email and provide an updated ship date.
